Push-pull circuitry is utilized in all high power stages in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability. The Model 100W1000B, when used with a sweep generator, will provide a minimum of 100 watts of RF power. The Model 100W1000B is equipped with a Digital Control Panel (DCP) which provides both local and remote control of the amplifier.
The DCP uses a digital display, menu assigned softkeys, a single rotary knob, and four dedicated switches (POWER, STANDBY, OPERATE and FAULT/RESET) to offer extensive control and status reporting capability. The display provides operational presentation of Forward Power and Reflected Power plus control status and reports of internal amplifier status. Special features include a gain control, internal/external automatic level control (ALC) with front panel control of the ALC threshold, pulse input capability and RF output level protection. Also included is an internal RF detector which provides an output for use in self-testing or operational modes. Protection is provided by DC current level sensing and individual fusing of all output stages. All amplifier control functions and status indications are available remotely in GPIB / IEEE-488 and RS-232 format.
The buss interface connector is located on the back panel and positive control of local or remote operation is assured by a keylock on the front panel of the amplifier. Housed in a stylish, contemporary bench top enclosure, the Model 100W1000B provides readily available RF power for typical applications such as RF susceptibility testing, antenna and component testing, watt meter calibration, and as a driver for frequency multipliers and higher power amplifiers. A safety interlock can be implemented via a rear panel connector. 0 20 40 60 80 100 120 140 160 WATTS 1 10 100 1000 10000 FREQUENCY (MHz) 100W1000B TYPICAL POWER OUTPUT LINEAR @ 3dB COMPRESSION LINEAR @ 1dB COMPRESSION 0.1.

First check if the remote control is sending an infrared signal. If the LED is flashing, this does not mean the Remote control is sending the IR signal. There is a separet Infrared LEd that sends the signal.
I can't find a serial number on my grinnel bros upright but I did find parts in it that read pat. 18.99 which at first I assumed was the date but I'm uncertain now. How do you know!? I have been searching for a list or a grinnell database or something but have failed to find anything! Thanks again!! Grinnell piano value.
To check the IR, point the remote control in a video camera or any camera with real-time monitor (phone cam, webcam, etc.) and press any button. You will see a white flash coming from the Remote control. Thjis works best if the camera is black&white, for color camera, the IR is still visible but quite faint. Another way of checking the IR (if you do not have a camera) is to press the RM in front of another device with remote control and while doing so, press the correct remote control. If that other does not function or functions erratically, then the remote control in question is emitting an IR signal. If there is no IR coming out, the solder conection of the IR LED might be the problem. It is rare that the IR LED will be damage because the remote control is only 3 volts.
If the remote control does emit an IR signal, then the TV remote reciever is defective. I had this problem with a CD player that I have fixed. The IR reciever looks like an LED (dark colored) with three pins (V+, signal, ground). Cost less than $3 May 18, 2007.
